Haha. Loved this. :)

I have a few vegetarian friends, and while I admire their will power, I can't stand their food. You guys are great. Thank you for summing up our crazy lives week after week and making the difficulties feel amusing and more importantly, reminding us that we're not alone in it and can manage it all with a little dignity and a lot of humor!

Comment on How Many Stars Are In Your Future?: Part 1, Variety in the Universe

You gave the four star right on. We're stationed at Hood and there are more improvements on base. My husband was surprised of the many changes that had occurred since he redeployed. You made me laugh about Ft. Polk. :)

Comment on You're in the Army Now!

Your comments about women who chose to express themselves through peircings, body art and hair color are ridiculous. I am prior army. Most military spouses have no clue what it means to actually be in the army. I, for one, am proud of my HUGE forearm tattoo that is a homage to Edgar Allan Poe. I am proud of my nose, lip and tongue piercings because they are an expression of my inner artist. I am proud of the HUGE fairy tattoo on my back that expresses my love of beauty. I am proud of my day-to-day changing hair color because it expresses my love of creation. I am 31 years old and a mother of 4. I have my own business and work out of my home. You two come across as stuck-up and out of touch. You can keep your khaki's, lame dolphin tattoos and desk jobs. Or, if you stay at home "homemaking" doing nothing more than some dishes and laundry...you can keep that too. In the meantime I'll be the one laughing at how old you look for your age and how you can't grasp the concept of artistic expression.

Comment on Peer Group or Peer Pressure?

I almost said, "Get out of the mindset. Just be you, and forget everyone else. Who CARES?" But then I kept reading. If you have kids, I guess it's not that simple.

It sounds exhausting - and frustrating. Maybe, though...maybe waving away peer pressure will NOT keep your child from having friends, and your child will learn that true friends are those who aren't in constant competition with you.

Comment on Tis the Season to Lose All Reason: Part 2

The large freezer bag idea is the best!

Comment on Grace Under Fire: Army Spouses Sew Up a Rebuttal

Outstanding ladies!
